Darwin: AETHR's foundation-model family

What Darwin is
Darwin is the name of AETHR's foundation-model family. Every Darwin model is built on the OMN architecture and training programme; OMN names the how, Darwin names the models that result.
The first release, Darwin Type-S1, is upcoming. Two further releases, Type-S1.2 and Type-M1, are planned for 2027. Until a release is published, the family is a taxonomy and a roadmap, not a product catalogue.
Classes and releases
Type-S is the compact lineage for efficient deployment and specialization; Type-M is the larger-capability lineage for demanding workloads. Classes describe lineage intent. Releases — S1, S1.2, M1 — are the versioned checkpoints within those lineages.
Earlier AETHR lines, Spectral and OMN-Mini, predate the family and remain documented as history. Future specialized derivatives, including water intelligence built with Project-Indofin, will descend from Darwin rather than from earlier names.
