Models

Models emerging from our research.

AETHR develops models through one research lineage: Darwin, built on the OMN architecture.

Foundation-model family

Darwin

Darwin is AETHR's foundation-model family built on OMN — a shared lineage for the models that emerge from our research, from general-purpose capabilities to domain specialization.

Explore Darwin

Type-S · Compact lineage

Efficient models for deployment and specialization.

Type-S is Darwin's compact, efficient lineage — designed for environments where footprint, latency, and memory matter, and for specialization into domains where a smaller model with the right adaptation outperforms a larger general one. Each Type-S release inherits architectural and training lessons from OMN through the shared Darwin lineage rather than starting over.

Type-M · Larger-capability lineage

Broader capability for demanding workloads.

Type-M is Darwin's larger-capability lineage for workloads where broader capability takes priority over deployment footprint — deeper reasoning scope, wider tool use, and higher-impact workflow participation. Like Type-S, it grows from the same OMN research foundation, so advances in architecture, optimization, and evaluation transfer across lineages instead of fragmenting into disconnected model lines.

Research foundation

OMN is the architecture. Darwin is the model family.

OMN is AETHR's foundation-model architecture and research environment — the programme through which block topology, parameter-specific optimization, attention stabilization, and training-system design are studied. Darwin is the family of models that emerges from that research: every Darwin release inherits OMN's architectural lessons rather than rediscovering them, and future OMN experiments continue to inform both Type-S and Type-M development.

Specialization

From general lineage to industrial deployment.

Darwin models are designed to specialize without fragmenting: domain adaptation, engineering vocabulary, tool use, and physical-systems reasoning build on the shared family foundation. Aethr Industrial Intelligence — beginning with Water Intelligence — is where specialized Darwin derivatives meet real facilities, under human supervision and evidence-backed deployment.

We maintain strict separation between configured hyperparameters and demonstrated capabilities. All reported checkpoints are accompanied by ablation history and documented limitations.
